Big Mountain Computers Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Big Mountain Computers! By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.


2. Use of Service

Big Mountain Computers provides a variety of IT services, including managed services, antivirus solutions, VoIP, security cameras, networking and consultation, low voltage work, website design and hosting, cloud hosting, and other IT services.

a. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services. By agreeing to these Terms, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age.

b. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. You agree that Big Mountain Computers shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.


3. User Responsibilities

a. Account Information

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer.

b. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Services:

  • In a way that violates any laws or regulations.

  • To transmit any harmful or malicious content or software.

  • To infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.


4. Billing and Payment Authorization

Big Mountain Computers is owned and operated by Office 179. Customer acknowledges and agrees that charges for services rendered by Big Mountain Computers may appear on credit card or bank statements under the name “Office 179.” Customer agrees that such charges are valid, authorized, and related to services provided by Big Mountain Computers.


5. Estimates and Service Charges

Any estimates provided by Big Mountain Computers are non-binding and are based on information available at the time the estimate is issued. Final charges may vary due to additional labor, parts requirements, unforeseen issues, incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the customer, or changes requested by the customer. Customer agrees to pay all charges incurred for authorized services as reflected on the final invoice.


6. Authorization to Perform Work and Data Disclaimer

Customer authorizes Big Mountain Computers to perform diagnostic, repair, maintenance, and related services as requested. Customer acknowledges that data loss may occur during the course of service and agrees that Big Mountain Computers is not responsible for the loss of data. Customer is solely responsible for maintaining backups of all data prior to service.


7. Remote Support Services

Big Mountain Computers may utilize remote access or remote support software to diagnose and resolve issues, reduce service time, and improve service efficiency. Customer may opt out of remote support services by notifying Big Mountain Computers in writing prior to service.


8. Electronic Communications Consent

Customer consents to receive invoices, receipts, service updates, account notifications, and other service-related communications from Big Mountain Computers via email and/or text message. Customer may opt out of non-essential communications at any time by emailing support@bigmt.net.


9. Intellectual Property

All content included on the Site, such as text, graphics, logos, images, as well as the compilation thereof, and any software used on the Site, is the property of Big Mountain Computers or its suppliers and protected by copyright and other laws that protect intellectual property and proprietary rights.


10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.


11. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Big Mountain Computers, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.


12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
